Link met Epona again after seven years had passed. He played Epona's Song, the tune Malon taught him, and reconnected with Epona. Ingo challenged Link to a bet on a horse race. Link and Epona won, but the angry Ingo locked them inside the arena. Link and Epona jumped the fence, escaped from Ingo Ranch, and bonded even further.
